Sitka Center

Overview

The Sitka Center for Art and Ecology had a highly complicated website and database integration that could no longer be updated. This required a rebuilding of the website-database connector and a new website that could be responsive to mobile devices. We also added refinements to the functionality and security of the database.

We worked with the board on the project scope, the timing, and the price to make sure it was something they could afford in a time frame that caused the least disruption to their business. This project is still underway and is scheduled for completion on January 30, 2018.

Final Notes

This project involves a very complicated relational database that had been in use for 8 years with a great deal of customization. In addition to a nice new front end website, we rebuilt the tables in the database to make them easier for staff to use and navigate.
